President Bush signed legislation on May 28, 2004, creating Iraq and Afghanistan campaign medals which will now be awarded to military personnel who have served in these countries during Operations ENDURING FREEDOM and IRAQI FREEDOM. Design, design approval, and production will take, at least, a year.
